So, along with everything else that I have going on in my life, I have added writing a weekly music feature to that ever-growing list of things. That music feature gets published every Friday at PopBunker.net, and I call it “Back to the Beginning.” It’s an album review, of sorts, but instead of simply reviewing a band’s latest musical offering, I compare it to that band’s very first studio album.
Sometimes the differences can be quite striking, sometimes quite subtle. Take a look at my past posts:
- Girl Talk’s Secret Diary vs. All Day
- Radiohead’s Pablo Honey vs. The King of Limbs
- New York Dolls’ Self-Titled Debut vs. Dancing Backward in High Heels
Now? I’m asking for your help.
Take a look at the list below, and decide which band or artist should get the Back to the Beginning treatment:
- Duran Duran
- The Mountain Goats
- Panic! At The Disco
- Peter Bjorn and John
- Snoop Dogg
- Britney Spears
- The Strokes

UPDATE: I’ve already received two votes via Twitter: one each for Duran Duran and, god help me, Whitesnake. Keep those choices coming in.
ANOTHER UPDATE: I’ve since received another vote, this time for Panic! at the Disco. We now have a three-way tie. Time’s a wastin’, people. Send me your choices.
